Until you try a Spanish paella cooked by a chef I do not think really appreciate. And about that happened to me today in day relaxing and trying new things. We crossed the summer garden of the restaurant La Rambla so I can try as many types of paella. Not another, but Antonio Burgos Perandres new Spanish chef, prepared for rice buffet, an event already become a tradition for La Rambla, 5 types of rice dishes.
I like rice and even home than try to make novel combinations. But remember that the spinach I would have ever thought, not in combination with rice. I love seafood and vegetables, we have often enjoyed ocean buffet with rice, but never as I tried today. And I tried paella ocean buffet Valenciana, squid and cuttlefish with, and rice Abandant, meloso and caldoso.
For dessert we tried all something specific Spanish course - leche frit. A typical desert of northern Spain, like a pudding, the main ingredients are milk, flour and sugar. Served with ice cream (I tried with mint and CIOLOS) is refreshing, not only delicious.
I spent some hours in the garden and I am glad that today was a beautiful day, I almost forgot that I'm right in the middle of Bucharest, near Victoria Square. Well, probably attended the relaxed state and carafe ocean buffet of sangria that we shared with Federov, Dorina and Cristina.
