Tomorrow (Sunday, May 18) at 12:00 pm, a group of citizens of Macedonia Square in Skopje organized humanitarian collection al la carte of clothing and bedding, water, milk powder, diapers intended for victims of the devastating floods al la carte that have recently gripped Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Citizens urge all those who are able to come and help however they can.
In Macedonia formed Facebook groups and organized charity to help people who lost their homes in the floods. A number of citizens have organized and went to the affected areas, which participate in the rescue of the population.
"The Red Cross of the Republic of Macedonia is the ready and expects to issue a call for additional teams of logistics, in order to take a certain amount of materials necessary for neselenieto. However, our teams await call to go and help in these regions, "reads the announcement on Facebook page of the Macedonian Red Cross.
Informal groups collecting material aid to Serbia: The neighbors are working! , Humanitarian Action!, Pray for Serbia! and humanitarian al la carte action to assist flood victims in Serbia (the last link can be sent directly to financial aid).
The collected funds will be donated directly to Bosnia and Serbia to support the most affected communities and individuals with the greatest need. CIR as organizer of this humanitarian initiative will transfers collected funds to partner organizations from Serbia and Bosnia, working in the development field of philanthropy.
Flooding caused thousands to flee their homes, al la carte destroying a number of roads and bridges, schools to close, and cause disruption in the supply of electricity for the entire city enrgija.
